Overview of Activities

ISCA encourages and maintains groups of members with special interests, which foster the scientific exchange and the organization of events around topics which are interesting to ISCA. These so-called Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are organised along certain topics or certain speech and language areas. An overview can be found here.

In addition, certain committees are active in supporting certain members groups, e.g. the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) or the PostDoc and Early-Career Researcher Advisory Committee (PECRAC), or in reaching out to under-represented groups in order to increase diversity (Diversity Committee).

The organization of scientific events requires voluntary reviewing work which ISCA asks all members to support.
